Global Cybersecurity Index 2017

The second edition of Global Cybersecurity Index (GCI 2017) published by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) on 15th June 2017 measures the commitment of Member States to cybersecurity in order to raise awareness. The CGI 2017 covers all the 193 member states. Mauritius with a score of 0.82 is ranked 6th in the world in 2017 and is the top ranked country in the Africa region. Singapore is the top ranked country in the world with a score of 0.92, followed by USA (0.91), Oman (0.89), Malaysia (0.87) and Estonia (0.84).
